We are looking for experienced berry pickers

We are looking for experienced berry pickers for the picking of wild forest berries.

Your main tasks are to:

• Find and pick forest berries
• Deliver berries to the designated depot for weighing and recording of picking results

A work team usually consists of 5–7 people, so it is important that everyone in the team speaks the same language.

Competencies

Requirements

• You are in good physical condition and have no health contraindications for heavy physical work.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a berry picker.
• You have basic knowledge of reading maps and can orient yourself in the forest and fields.
• You are friendly and enjoy working in a team, but are also self-sufficient in your tasks.
• You are open and treat other people and their culture with respect and compassion.
• You can speak and write in at least one of the following languages: Swedish, English, Polish, or Thai.

NOTE! At least five people who speak the same language are needed to form a work team.

Meritorious (not required)

• Driving license B (issued in an EU country, otherwise an international driving license is required). Although a driving license is not a requirement for the position, at least one person in the team needs to have a driving license, which can be an advantage in the recruitment process.
• Additional language skills in Swedish or English
• Previous experience of berry picking in Västerbotten County

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment / seasonal employment
• Salary: According to collective agreement
• Working hours: According to established work schedule
